The approach to Alyx was wildly different than for example Boneworks. It's a game that was designed with robust, elegant solutions to the VR specific challenges. And as a result, you could view it as limited, but it's not dated. It's just conservative, which isn't a pejorative when it comes to game design.

Stocks for Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift S, Valve Index etc were sold out since November, which is a heartening news to hear. They even stop order since Dec because they couldn't cope with the overwhelming support, and it looks to be the case for the next few months too. Its great to hear that HL: Alyx has become a VR headset seller and a major killer app.

Various mods exist in various states of completion but they're not officially supported. Take a Google for "Alyx no VR mod". This game doesn't support VR, it's VR native and requires both a VR headset and tracked motion controllers. #1. Garatgh Deloi Feb 5 @ 1:23am.
Vr isn't ready for prime time. I never played or owned a vf headset. Not worth the hassle. And I did hear that Alyx does support some mods, but you'll have to ask someone who has experience. congratulations, you just played yourself you weirdo^^ cause alyx comes free when buying the index on steam lol Also Alyx literally has a workshop here^^

Right now I'm about to buy the Oculus Quest 2 — Advanced All-In-One Virtual Reality Headset — 64 GB. I was just wondering if this is a good setup for this game, and need to know what the 64 GB means. Also, is this the VR headset that requires facebook?
